Pray/Meditate

1)  Find a quiet space where you will not be disturbed. This should be a sanctuary where you feel safe and comfortable, a place where you can let go of the outside world and turn inward it could be a dedicated prayer room, a quiet corner of your home or even a peaceful spot in nature make sure this space is free from distractions and interruptions.

2)  Light a candle. A symbol of your intention to connect with the Divine. The act of lighting a candle represents the illumination of your soul and the presence of God/Source's light in your life. Choose a candle that resonates with you, perhaps one with a soothing scent or a color that feels spiritually significant. The flame of the candle will serve as a focal point for your meditation helping you to concentrate and deepen your connection. Begin by calming your mind with deep breaths, inhaling slowly and deeply through your nose filling your lungs completely and then exhaling gently through your mouth. Repeat this process several times allowing each breath to carry away any tension or stress you may be holding focus on the rhythm of your breathing letting it guide you into a state of relaxation and presence this practice of mindful breathing helps to Center yourself in the present moment making you more receptive to the Divine energies around you. As your mind becomes still and your body relaxed speak from your heart.
